What is the initial setup method for using the FP-2140H flow detector with the FM-1500 flow indicator?
When using the FM series for the first time, it is essential to perform the initial settings for the following items of the FP flow detector.
Similarly, if you change and use the FP flow detector, the settings are also required.
Initial setup method for using the FP2140H flow detector with the FM-1500 flow indicator.
Set the 1) detector, 2) factor value, and 3) encoder pulse in order.
Notice
- This is the method for setting standard specifications. Please note that the settings differ for custom specifications.
- This is the setting method from factory shipment.
- This is a setting for measuring instantaneous flow (volume). For settings related to other measurements, please refer to the instruction manual.
In Setup mode, the display under the keys on the main unit will show white text on a blue background, indicating the function of the keys.
Operating Instructions
1. 
Press to enter Setup mode. → Software configuration flow here
2. The Sensor Select settings item will be displayed.
＊If it is not the Sensor Select settings item, wait until it is displayed.

When you press it, the configured items will blink.
Set up the detector to be used.

4. Pressing will confirm the settings of the flow detector.
5.Pressing will display the Sensor Factor settings item.
6.Pressing will cause the highest digit to blink.
Set the factor value as indicated on the detector's nameplate or inspection report.

Pressing the button will move the configurable blinking digit.
[In the case of a 4-digit factor value]
If the factor value has 4 digits, a leading 0 will be added.
7.Pressing this will confirm the setting of the factor value.
8.When you press, the Sensor Pulse setting item will be displayed.
(2) 120(P/R)*10 is displayed, no settings are required.
11. Please set the Sensor Press.
The number of decimal places will be 0.00 ～.
※ If you want to reduce the number of digits by 1, please refer to the settings within the red dashed line below.
If it is set other than 120 (P/R) * 10.
9.When you press it, the configured items will blink.
(2) Select 120 (P/R) * 10
The number of decimal places will be displayed as 0.00 ～.
* If you want to reduce the number of digits by 1, please select (1) 120 (P/R).
10.Pressing this will confirm the encoder pulse settings.
11.When you press, the Sensor Press settings item will be displayed.
12.When you press it, the configured items will blink.
Since there is no pressure sensor attached, the pressure measurement display will be turned off.
Select OFF
13.Pressing it will confirm the settings.
14.Press to return to Measure mode.
