I am using the crank angle detection system with the slit disk model PP-010A, but vibrations can sometimes cause surface runout or distortion. What measures can be taken to address this?
The slit disk PP-010A is made of a 0.5 mm thick metal plate, and due to excessive vibrations transmitted from the rotating device, surface runout and distortion may occur. In such cases, please reinforce the PP-010A slit by sandwiching it between disk-shaped plates as shown in the figure below to prevent surface runout and distortion.

The reinforcement plates for the PP-010A are made to order, so please contact the nearest sales office for details on pricing and delivery. We also sell the PP-011B slitted disk, which comes with standard reinforcement plates, so please consider using this option as well. The specifications for the PP-010A and PP-011B slitted disks are as shown in the table below.
