Gear Testing System: Hypoid Gear Transmission Error Measurement Device
WEB-HYPOID

This gear testing system enables the quality and performance evaluation of hypoid gears and bevel gears used as differential gears and transmission gears in automobiles, construction machinery, and other applications, under conditions close to actual load conditions. Because the system can measure gear meshing transmission errors, it offers excellent test reproducibility and correlation with noise and vibration. Leveraging these characteristics, it's possible to build test systems tailored to specific purposes, such as prototype evaluation tests in research and development or quality control tests on manufacturing lines. Furthermore, light-load and high-load specifications are available depending on the test objective, and H-cone sweep measurement conditions can be set by adding optional mechanisms.

  • Automatically measures the amount of meshing transmission error due to differences in meshing position.

  • We can manufacture loads ranging from standard loads (250 to 600 N·m) to high loads (±1,800 N·m).

  • High precision achieved through a unique pulse phase difference method.

  • A wide range of applications including meshing error, pitch error, and order analysis.

  • Coast torque, which is the load condition during engine braking, can be reproduced.

  • Backlash is automatically set by the gear shaft feed positioning servo mechanism.

  • Optional features include tooth contact image analysis, crossing angle error setting mechanism, and H-cone feed servo mechanism.
