Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. (President: Yuji Okoshi), a manufacturer and distributor of electronic measuring instruments, has received a letter of appreciation from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) for its significant contributions to the development of the H3 rocket and the successful launch of the second test rocket.

Letter of appreciation received from JAXA
On May 8th, a ceremony to present letters of appreciation for contributions to the development of the H3 rocket and the successful launch of the second test vehicle was held at Hotel Nikko Tsukuba (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture), hosted by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Our company also attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, our company received a letter of appreciation in recognition of the contribution of the turbopump tachometer that we contributed to the development of, which played a role in the successful launch of the second H3 rocket test vehicle.
The H3 rocket is Japan's next-generation large-scale flagship rocket, being jointly developed by JAXA and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. It is being developed as a successor to the currently operating H-IIA rocket, primarily for satellite launches, to ensure Japan maintains its means of space transportation. The goal is to launch six rockets per year, and stable operation is expected in the future.
The next launch, No. 3, is scheduled for Sunday, June 30th of this year, at the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture. This rocket will also be equipped with a turbopump tachometer, which our company contributed to developing. Moving forward, we will continue to contribute to a sustainable society and support Japan's space development through our "measure, understand, and connect" technologies.
