Background of Development
The automotive industry is currently focusing on electrification technologies to achieve a carbon-neutral society, but at the same time, it is being forced to comply with increasingly stringent regulations on internal combustion engines in countries around the world. Furthermore, there is a growing need for bench testing to address carbon-neutral fuels, improve fuel efficiency with existing fuels, and reduce emissions.
The "Emissions Test Bench System" being released this time is compatible with major destinations (domestic/EPA/GTR/EC) and can perform necessary mode tests (heavy-duty vehicles: WHTC/WHSC/WNTE/1199/RMC13, etc.; diesel special vehicles: NRTC/NRMC/NRSC, etc.). This model (released in 2023) is the sixth generation since our "FAMS (Flexible Automatic Automatic Measurement Control System System)" was launched in 1984. Compared to its predecessor, it features a space-saving design and high expandability. When combined with the "RC-S Full Vehicle Transient Bench," "4-wheel Chassis Dynamometer," "2-wheel Chassis Dynamometer," "Powertrain Bench," "HEV T/A & T/M Transient Bench," and "Motor/Engine Bench," this system enables bench testing of everything from the entire vehicle to individual powertrains.
