Reasons for joining the company

Because "measurement" guarantees safety and standards in society, I wanted to become an engineer who supports people's lives, and that's why I applied to Ono Sokki.
I was drawn to Ono Sokki' management philosophy and the attitude of each employee to improve the company through suggestions for improvement.
Furthermore, through the roundtable discussion with senior employees, I felt that the company's atmosphere suited me.
I joined the company because I believed I could work actively from the customer's perspective.

student days

I majored in electrical engineering at university. I belonged to a research lab that focused on renewable energy, and I was studying inverter control methods for solar power generation.
I found this field fascinating because it allows me to consider various issues that arise within a large-scale area like the power system from many different angles.
I also worked part-time in the homemade bread section of a supermarket.
I did a lot of work, including selling bread, cleaning the workshop, creating cafe menus, and tasting new bread creations.
As I became more familiar with the work, I was able to handle various tasks simultaneously, and I felt a sense of accomplishment from that.

Current job duties

I am involved in the electrical design of fluid measuring instruments. This includes revising electrical drawings, studying sequences and mechanical components, and observing on-site work through business trips.
I think the appeal lies in the fact that you can work on tasks that are closer to electrical engineering than electronics, and that you can gain knowledge in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
Since my on-the-job training, I've been striving to perform tasks and make plans with the deliverables (goals) in mind.
I find it challenging to determine how easily others can understand what I've created, and to consider as many different scenarios as possible.

Company pride

The company's corporate colors and design are sophisticated, and many employees are food lovers.
A company that is well-known among automobile manufacturers, and has cheap and delicious company cafeteria food.
There are many advantages, such as comprehensive training programs (where you can operate equipment worth hundreds of millions of yen)...and much more!

To all students

If you're having even the slightest problem, please be brave and talk to someone about it.
Unconventional opinions may emerge, and they can serve as a basis for comparing and judging your own thoughts.
At Ono Sokki, there are many people you can easily consult with, so please feel free to ask us employees questions during the event.
