Manual Memory Operation

This document describes the procedures for storing, recalling, and clearing data for the manual memory function.

Storing data to manual memory.

The procedure for storing data in manual memory is as follows.

If storing at the currently displayed address.

1. Complete the measurement.
   For details, please refer to the aforementioned "Chapter 4 Measurement Data."
2. Run the store.
   Press the panel switch [STORE] to store data at the address displayed in the upper right.
   Once stored, it automatically moves to the next address.

■When setting an address number for storage

1. Complete the measurement.
   For more details, please refer to the aforementioned "Chapter 4: Measurement of Data."
2. Set the store address number.
   After switching the panel switch mode to secondary, press the panel switch [Memory (▲・▼)] to switch the address number (M0001～).
   Address numbers that already have data stored will display a data stored mark.
   
3. Run the store.
   When you press the panel switch [STORE], measurement data will be stored at the address switched in operation ②.
   For LA-1240/1250/1350, Leq/LE/Lx is stored in memory. For LA-4350, Leq/LE/Lpk/Lx is stored in memory. A store mark will be displayed during storage.

   

Notice

If you store new data at an address where data is already stored, it will overwrite the existing data. Please be careful.

Recall of manual memory data.

The procedure for recalling data stored in manual memory is as follows.

1. Complete the data store.
   For more details, please refer to the previous section "2.1 Data Store to Manual Memory" in this chapter.
2. Set the address number to recall.
   After switching the panel switch mode to secondary, press the panel switch [Memory (▲・▼)] to toggle the address number (M0001～).
   Address numbers that already have data stored will display a data stored mark.
3. Execute recall.
   With the panel switch mode set to secondary, press the panel switch [Recall]. The data stored at the specified address will be recalled. The recalled data will display a recall mark.

   

4. Switch measurement items.
   After switching the panel switch mode to primary mode, each time the panel switch [Lp Leq..(Lx)] is pressed, the measurement item of the recalled data will switch.

   

Clear manual memory data

Data stored in manual memory can be completely cleared (deleted) by pressing the panel switch [PRINT (MMCLEAR)] while turning the power ON.

Notice

• Stored data cannot be cleared on an individual address basis. It will all be cleared at once.
• Before clearing the store data, please print out or save any necessary data by other means.
