High-sensitivity GPS speedometer LC-8310
Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. is now a JCSS registered business in the speed category (Note 1) and can issue JCSS calibration certificates for vehicle speedometers using GPS and IMU, as detailed below.
Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. offers JCSS calibration services in five categories: acoustics/ultrasound, vibration acceleration, torque, flow rate/velocity, and electricity (DC/low frequency). Now, our vehicle speedometer using GPS and IMU (hereinafter referred to as GPS speedometer) has been registered and certified by the Accreditation Center of the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), and we will begin offering the first JCSS calibration service for GPS speedometers in Japan (Note 2).
Section 7.1.5.3.2 of IATF 16949, a quality management system standard for the automotive industry, requires that calibration certificates for measuring instruments be performed at ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratories and bear the mark of a national accreditation body. JCSS calibration certificates satisfy the requirements of IATF 16949 Section 7.1.5.3.2 and can be used internationally.
In order to meet the requirements for instrument calibration under IATF 16949, our company is promoting the JCSS calibration service business.
Going forward, we plan to further expand the JCSS registration categories (including rotational speed) and expand the calibration range and types of calibrators within the current registration categories, thereby contributing to total measurement support.

(Note 2) This JCSS calibration service for GPS speedometers applies to our "LC-8100", "LC-8100A", "LC-8120", "LC-8200", "LC-8200A", "LC-8220", "LC-8300", and "LC-8310" models.
