The SC-2500 acoustic calibrator previously displayed performance specifications based on the international standard IEC 60942:2003, established in 2003. However, following the revision of the IEC standard, we have now confirmed compliance with the new IEC 60942:2017 standard. Therefore, we have changed some of the performance specifications for units shipped from October 18, 2018.
For customers using the SC-2500 acoustic calibrator that has already been shipped (shipped before October 18, 2018)
Customers who wish to update their IEC notation should request proofreading services from us (for a fee).
After receiving your SC-2500 acoustic calibrator, we will perform calibration and inspection at our company and update the notation to comply with the revised IEC 60942:2017 standard.
