Functionality improvements

The previous model could not record while performing frequency analysis. If we wanted to record and analyze unusual noises on-site, we had to do it in two separate steps. The LA-7000 series allows for simultaneous recording and analysis, which helps to shorten measurement time. - It is possible to compare all-pass sound (sound across the entire frequency range) and bandpass sound (sound within a specified frequency range).
The ability to switch between AP and BP modes within the filter mode makes comparing different sound levels extremely convenient.
The noise levels from industrial products (home appliances, office equipment, automobiles, etc.) and living spaces have decreased considerably over the past decade. However, when one noise becomes quieter, other noises that were previously unnoticed may become more noticeable. There are limits to noise reduction, however, and an increasing number of manufacturers are aiming to improve sound quality by creating more pleasant sounds. Given this situation, it seems that noise measurement will continue to be an important area of research.
On the other hand, those actually conducting sound measurements in the field are saying that "the increased functionality has made the measuring instruments complex and difficult to operate." They have also requested the ability to "record the target sound on-site" and "identify potential solutions to noise sources to some extent."
In response to such feedback, we developed the LA-7000 series high-performance sound level meter, which features a simple operation that is easy for beginners to understand and incorporates a filter function that is effective in identifying abnormal noises.
