DS-3000 Series ESUFEEL DS-0350 Recording Function (Optional)
* Other products with similar "recording functions" do not have this issue (DS-0250A, CF-9200/9400, CF-7200A).
Details of the problem
When using the DS-0350 recording function, if you use the voltage auto-ranging function (which automatically determines the voltage range based on the input signal), the voltage range information of the input channel where the voltage auto-ranging function was activated will not be correctly saved to the ORF file during recording.
As a result, incorrect data will be recorded in the ORF file. *The voltage range will not be changed during recording.
Cause of malfunction
This is a bug in the software's internal processing.

We will address this issue by upgrading the software version from “Ver1.0.0.000 to 2.4.1.225” to “Ver.2.4.2.227”.
If you are using a version prior to Ver.2.4.1.225, please turn the voltage auto-ranging function "OFF" before recording.
Immediately after starting ESUFEEL, select [Input/Output Settings] > [Input Settings] from the software menu to open the [Input Condition Settings] dialog box. Set the checkbox for the auto-range setting for each input channel (see Figure 1) to "OFF" and close the dialog box by clicking OK. Then, press the [REC] button to start recording.

How to update to compatible software
To update to compatible software version 2.4.2.227, please obtain it using the following method and perform the upgrade.
- Download from our website (see below).
- Receive the upgrade installation CD from your sales representative. Please contact your nearest sales office.
Regarding the repair of ORF files with incorrect voltage ranges recorded.
If a DAT file was saved simultaneously with the ORF file recording, or if the degree of deviation from the original signal level (± dB) is clear, it is possible to repair the ORF file containing the incorrect voltage range. Customers who require ORF file repair should contact their nearest sales office or customer support center.
