Announcement of the launch of JCSS calibration service for FFT analyzers

Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. is now a JCSS registered business in the electrical (DC/low frequency) category (Note 1), and is able to issue JCSS calibration certificates for FFT analyzers, as detailed below.
Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. was registered as a JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System) calibration provider in the "Acoustics and Ultrasound" category by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) Accreditation Center in 2005. Subsequently, it registered in the "Vibration Acceleration" category in 2012, the "Torque" category in 2013, and the "Flow Rate and Velocity" category in 2014. Now, having registered in the "Electrical (DC/Low Frequency)" category, we are pleased to announce the commencement of JCSS calibration services for FFT analyzers as AC voltage measuring devices. This will be the first JCSS calibration service for FFT analyzers offered by an internationally accredited MRA-compliant provider (Note 2) in Japan, and all FFT analyzers that we have sold for many years will be eligible for JCSS calibration.

To meet the demand for ISO/IEC 17025 calibration of measuring instruments, our company is promoting JCSS calibration services. We accept JCSS calibration not only for our own products but also for measuring instruments from both domestic and international suppliers, strengthening our capabilities. In the future, we plan to expand the calibration range under our current registration categories and further expand our JCSS registration categories, contributing to total measurement support.

(Note 1) The classification of electricity (DC/low frequency) is based on the regulations that specify the types of measuring instruments, etc., as stipulated in Article 90, Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Measurement Act.
(Note 2) MRA stands for Mutual Recognition of Authority, and calibration certificates from internationally MRA-accredited service providers can be used overseas.
