Time series data analysis tool Oscope2

Time-series data generated in various research, development, and academic settings is extremely vast. The Oscope series is highly regarded as software that allows you to quickly extract only the desired data from large amounts of time-series data that are difficult to handle with spreadsheet software, and then freely edit and analyze it.

This time, we have reborn the Oscope 2, integrating the previous Oscope series with the Oscope Professional, which has been well-received for its high level of usability. While keeping the selling price down, we have enhanced the functions and usability, significantly improving cost performance. In addition, we have added a more affordable version to the lineup, making it even more accessible.

The standard features have been enhanced with the addition of an event counter, integration with the graphing tool O-Chart*1, and improved search functionality. The event counter function can generate count waveforms such as waveform level, edges, and change amount, making it possible to convert rotational pulse signals into angle waveforms or distance waveforms. This allows for application to data other than time-axis data, greatly expanding its range of use.

In addition to general-purpose formats such as CSV and Wave files, it also supports proprietary data formats from some data recorders. Furthermore, it allows for smooth editing operations such as simultaneous display, arranging, and overlaying, without being restricted by different data formats or sampling frequencies.

The optional features now include time-frequency analysis, enabling frequency analysis of transient phenomena. Additionally, the fluctuating sound analysis has been enhanced, allowing for the extraction of sounds such as "beats" and "fluctuations."

By using a variety of search criteria, it is now possible to search for the necessary sections and extract the data.
The system automatically places markers along with labels at the search result locations, enabling smooth and efficient waveform editing.
The difference (delta) value between the reference marker and the cursor can now be displayed even on multiple tracks.
Waveforms can be easily extracted, copied, and overlaid, making comparative analysis of waveforms simple.
Enhanced integration with the graphing tool O-Chart allows for easy graph display directly within O-Chart.
