We have recently discovered a problem with our field balancing software DS-0227 that you purchased. Depending on the operating procedure, the calibration values may not be correctly reflected in the data. We sincerely apologize for causing this situation and promise to prevent it from happening again. Therefore, we ask that customers using DS-0227 field balancing software check their software version and, if you are using the affected version, download the latest version with the fix and perform an overwrite installation. We apologize for the inconvenience during this busy time and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Target Products
This issue applies to DS-0227 field balancing software products with version numbers earlier than Ver1.1.0.6 (the fix was implemented in Ver1.1.0.7 and later).
phenomenon
If you select [V/EU] in the calibration dialog and perform calibration, you can measure with the correct calibration value until the application is closed. However, if you close and restart the application, the same calibration value will act as the value calibrated with [EU/V] (the calibration value will be the reciprocal).
cause
The reason for this issue is that the setting indicating the calibration state ([V/EU] or [EU/V]) was not loaded when the application started, causing the calibration value to always be used as the value calculated in [EU/V] (this setting is automatically saved when the application is closed).
How to avoid operational problems
Open the calibration dialog once when you start the application, then close it by clicking the [OK] button. This will reproduce the state at the time of calibration, so you will obtain correct measurement data until you close the application.
How to check the version (the diagram shows the case using Windows XP)
When the application starts, the "Balancing Mode Settings" dialog box will automatically open, displaying the version number. This dialog box can also be opened using the "Balancing Mode Settings" button on the main screen.
countermeasure
Please download the updated software to the computer where your DS-0227 field balancing software is installed and perform an overwrite installation.
