When I set a value for a preset measurement and complete the process, the value resets to 0.00 mm.
If the preset measurement function is not being used, this malfunction will not affect measurements.

If the direction is set to negative (indicated by a ▼ on the LCD screen), the preset polarity will be displayed in the opposite direction to the set value.

The preset measurement function allows you to set the display to a pre-defined value and then calculate the dimensions based on that value. If you are not using the preset function, this malfunction will not affect your measurements, and you can continue to use the device as is.
