Its flat frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz and crisp directional characteristics allow for high signal-to-noise ratio detection of various sounds originating from specific locations. When combined with the BL-1100 acoustic vibration monitor, which extracts only the desired frequency, it allows for even clearer extraction of the target sound.
