The NP-0081N20 is an adapter that adds TEDS functionality to preamplifier-equipped Accelerometer that do not support TEDS.
By writing information (sensitivity information, calibration information) from Accelerometer connected to this device and connecting it together with Accelerometer to a TEDS-compatible measuring instrument, you can use the functions of a TEDS sensor.
Since it connects directly to the input terminal of the measuring instrument, it does not interfere with measurements and does not require any changes to the cable wiring.

The NP-0081N20 TEDS adapter's dedicated chip writes and records the unique information (sensitivity information, calibration information) of the non-TEDS compatible sensor being used. This recorded sensor-specific information is then automatically read into the TEDS-compatible measuring instrument it is paired with. This automates tasks such as sensitivity setting, prevents setting errors, and reduces the labor required for pre-measurement preparation.

The NP-0081N20 TEDS adapter is used in a one-to-one pairing with Accelerometer. If you have multiple sensors to convert to TEDS, you will need the same number of TEDS adapters (one TEDS adapter cannot be used with multiple sensors). The TEDS chip built into the TEDS adapter contains calibration information for the paired sensor, and the model number and serial number are printed on a sticker on the outer casing.

Furthermore, since it is compatible with conventional CCLD (constant current drive) type preamplifier built-in sensors, it can be used as before even with measuring instruments that do not support TEDS.
