Ignition pulse detector
IP-292/IP-296
This detector utilizes an electromagnetic induction method specifically designed for measuring gasoline engine rotation speed. It takes advantage of the fact that current changes in the primary or high-tension cord occur in sync with the spark, and the resulting magnetic field change is then generated as a current change in the core winding, which is then converted into a voltage. The IP-292 model simply clips onto the low-voltage primary side of the ignition, and the IP-296 model clips onto the high-voltage secondary side, making them extremely easy to install and use. They are designed to be used in combination with our engine rotation indicators (AR-7240B, CT-6700, HT-6200, SE-1620, GE-2500, etc.).
