Ono Sokki Instruments' commitment to the environment

Regarding environmental considerations

Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. is committed to environmentally conscious product manufacturing, promoting the elimination of hazardous chemicals throughout the product lifecycle, from raw materials to disposal. In this context, we actively promote the exclusivity of the 10 restricted substances specified by the European RoHS Directive.

Compliant with European RoHS Directive

Our products fall under Category 9 "Monitoring and control equipment" as defined in Annex I of the European RoHS Directive. We are gradually switching our products to comply with the European RoHS Directive.

  • Regarding the application date, since our products are basically industrial monitoring and control equipment, the regulations will apply to products launched in Europe from July 22, 2021. However, some products, such as those for which it is difficult to procure parts that do not contain specific hazardous substances, and some large products, may be exempt.

  • Some of our products, such as tachometers, sound level meters, and FFT analyzers, already comply with the European RoHS Directive (CE marking compliant). For other products that do not yet comply, we will be gradually switching to compliance with the 10-substance limit.

  • For specific assistance, please contact your sales representative or our customer support department.
