About environmental measures

Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. promotes the elimination of hazardous chemical substances throughout the product life cycle, from raw materials to disposal, and is committed to environmentally friendly manufacturing. As part of these efforts, we are actively promoting the non-inclusion of the ten substances restricted by the European RoHS Directive.

Compliance with the European RoHS Directive

Our products fall under Category 9 "Monitoring and Control Equipment" as defined in Annex I of the European RoHS Directive. We are gradually transitioning our products to comply with the European RoHS Directive.

  • Regarding the applicable schedule, our products are fundamentally classified as industrial monitoring and control devices, so products launched in Europe will be applicable from July 22, 2021. However, there are some products that may be excluded, such as those that have difficulty sourcing components free of specific harmful substances or certain large products.

  • Some products such as tachometers, sound level meters, and FFT analyzers are already compliant with the European RoHS directive (CE marking compliant). For other products that are not compliant, we will gradually implement compliance with the regulation on the inclusion of 10 substances.
