The three "LA-4441A (Class 1, precision sound level meter)" products comply with the Measurement Law (enacted in 2021), IEC 61672-1:2013, and JIS C 1509-1:2017. *1
With a wide linearity range of 100 dB, it can simultaneously measure, select, and display seven noise indicators, including time-averaged sound level, in response to a wide range of sound volume fluctuations without switching level ranges.
These three products allow you to separate the microphone unit from the main unit of the sound level meter and connect a dedicated coaxial cable to extend the microphone unit over long distances.

With a curved body that minimizes the effects of sound reflection, and an easy-to-read and intuitive operation menu, we have achieved a more user-friendly human interface than ever before, in addition to improved functionality.

Furthermore, the LA-1441A and LA-4441A sound level meters (noise meters) allow for quick and easy data transfer to a PC via RS-232C or USB using dedicated free software, and also enable remote operation and control of the sound meter from a PC.

ASNITE and JCSS calibration are available.

*1 Starting with shipments in December 2017, the compliance standards listed on the back of the unit have been changed to IEC 61672-1:2013 and JIS C 1509-1:2017. Shipments prior to November 2017 have also been confirmed to comply with IEC 61672-1:2013 and JIS C 1509-1:2017.

Easy and convenient data processing

The sound level meter can be connected to a Windows® PC via RS-232C or USB cable, and using dedicated free software, acquired measurement data can be quickly and easily transferred to the PC, and the sound level meter can be remotely operated and controlled from the PC.

LA-0141 Comparator Output Option
Overview This option outputs a signal when a set value is exceeded. It can be used to determine the sound level of the object being measured.

(This is useful when you only want to make a judgment when the set value is exceeded consecutively. It helps avoid false judgments caused by single noise events, etc. Note that this is ineffective when the HOLD setting is manual.)

AG-2000 Series Microphone Extension Cable
Overview The microphone unit and the main unit can be separated, and the microphone can be extended over long distances using a dedicated microphone extension cable.
Multi-core cables tend to be heavy, but dedicated microphone extension cables use coaxial cables, so even with a 100m extension, the cord reel can be small, making it easy to move around on site.

Calibration

To guarantee the accuracy of the values measured by a measuring instrument, the instrument must be calibrated at appropriate intervals. Only by using a calibrated instrument can the reliability and stability of the obtained measurements be improved. There are three calibration services available for the integral-averaged sound level meter: "ASNITE calibration," "JCSS calibration," and "general calibration."
