Acoustic measurements, such as understanding operating noises during product development or testing for abnormal noises, begin with creating an environment unaffected by external disturbances. While it's easy to focus on blocking sounds other than those of the object being measured (sound insulation performance) to create a quiet environment, when using an anechoic chamber, attention must also be paid to reducing the effects of reflected sound generated within the chamber (sound absorption performance). In addition to these, considering the frequency characteristics of sound radiated from the object, as well as vibrations of the installation site that affect background noise, allows for the creation of a reliable measurement environment. Since both sound insulation performance and sound absorption performance have a significant impact on measurement values, we offer two types of anechoic chambers for each.
