MP-9810/MP-9830
The MP-9810 and MP-9830 are non-contact Magneto-Electric Rotation Detector that integrate a magnetoresistive element, permanent magnet, DC amplifier, and voltage regulator into a compact body. By positioning them close to the teeth of a detection gear mounted on a rotating shaft, they output a stable square wave signal from ultra-low speeds to high speeds. They can be combined with TM-4000 series Digital Tachometer and FV-1500 FV converters to build applications for measuring the rotational speed of various rotating equipment.
MP-9810 (Basic Type): 0 Hz to 20 kHz signal cable and extension cable sold separately.
MP-9830 (High-speed type): 0 Hz to 100 kHz. Signal cable and extension cable sold separately.
The detection distance varies depending on the module of the detection gear used; a larger module allows for a longer detection distance. The detection distance also depends on temperature; in cases where the ambient temperature fluctuates significantly, the detection distance should be minimized during installation. Note that the detectable range shown in the diagram is when the output waveform duty cycle is within 50% ± 20%.
Magneto-Electric Rotation Detector (MP-9810/MP-9830) requires the alignment mark to be aligned with the center of the gear teeth.
