Deployment of solar power generation equipment and charging facilities for electric vehicles (EVs)
In March 2024, solar power generation equipment was installed at the Utsunomiya Technical & Product Center. A total of 340 solar panels were placed on the roof of the company building and on the premises, generating approximately 200,000 kWh (about 5% of the power for the facility) through self-generation, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases (approximately 80 t-CO 2 /year). Additionally, EV charging facilities were installed in the parking lot of the facility.
Change the lighting to LED.
We have replaced all the lighting used in the Utsunomiya Technical & Product Center from fluorescent lamps to LEDs. This will result in an annual reduction of approximately 198,000 kWh, which translates to an annual reduction of approximately 77 tons of CO2.

Onosokki Forest
Our company engages in environmental conservation activities through the purchase of forest-derived J-Credits ※ from companies that protect forests in Tochigi Prefecture. We started forest conservation activities with the cooperation of Tochigi Wood Industry, which purchased J-Credits.
We will cultivate part of the forests in Tochigi Prefecture as "Onosokki no Mori."
※ A system in which the amount of CO 2 emissions reduced through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the amount of CO 2 absorbed through proper forest management, is certified by the government as "credits." The credits created by this system can be used for various purposes, such as achieving the goals of the Keidanren Carbon Neutral Action Plan and carbon offsetting (Source: Excerpt from J-Credit HP).
Implementing fiber recycling of old work uniforms.
Our company renewed the work uniforms worn by employees in May 2025 for the first time in about ten years. Along with this, the old uniforms collected (approximately 1,300 tops and 820 pants, including long-sleeve and short-sleeve) were recycled with the cooperation of Nakano Co., Ltd., which specializes in fiber recycling, and were repurposed into automotive interior materials and work gloves instead of being discarded. The work gloves recycled from the old uniforms are also purchased and reused by our company. We plan to request recycling again once a certain number of used work uniforms have accumulated.
Change packaging and cushioning materials to sustainable materials.
As part of our efforts to reduce plastic usage, we have changed the packaging materials and cushioning for some products to recyclable paper materials.
We have changed 67% of the product packaging materials for standard products from resin-based packaging to FSC-certified paper ※. (As of December 2023)
