Ono Sokki Technical Review 2024

Measurement solutions for the future of mobility

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.
This year marks our 70th anniversary. We will continue to take on challenges in order to further advance our technology.
We are pleased to announce the "Ono Sokki Technical Review 2024," an opportunity for everyone to review our technology and products.
In the development of mobility technologies such as electrification and autonomous driving, aimed at realizing a decarbonized society by 2050, the needs are becoming increasingly complex, requiring not only real-world but also virtual phenomena for understanding and verifying them. Further improvements in the accuracy and efficiency of measurement technology are essential. Our company provides reliable measurement and a diverse range of products and services, supporting mobility development with our "measure, understand, and connect" technology.
At the venue, we will exhibit the development background, actual devices, and real-world examples (real data), and our technical staff will provide direct explanations. Through this event, we hope to receive valuable feedback from everyone and use it to create new value.
We will strive to ensure that all attendees have a valuable and enjoyable experience, and we sincerely look forward to your visit to the "Ono Sokki Technical Review 2024".

Information about the exhibition

VIL system: A coupling of virtual and bench testing.

We will introduce "ADAS-VRS," a VIL system that couples a virtual environment and a bench system. This system can be used to solve problems such as the difficulty of preparing a real evaluation environment and ensuring reproducibility when evaluating the functionality and safety of ADAS-equipped vehicles, and we will exhibit it along with actual evaluation examples of ADAS-equipped vehicles.

Drive shaft measurement during actual driving

We are working to improve the quality of modeling and model verification by accurately and easily measuring vehicle speed and drive shaft torque during actual driving. Furthermore, by observing drive shaft rotational vibrations during driving, we can address requests for checking NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) caused by powertrains.

xVRS technology contributes to BEV development

Motor control technology is being used to improve vehicle motion control, ride comfort, and energy management, and there is a need for systems to evaluate these improvements. This presentation introduces measurement and control technologies and driving examples for BEV evaluation that can reproduce low rotational speed ranges and agile wheel speeds.

Measurement systems that support electrification

Mobility development requires a wide variety of measurements and evaluations. Our FAMS-R6 can accurately and efficiently measure how energy is used. We will introduce FAMS-R6, which supports your electrification efforts, and our various sensors and measurement tools that connect with FAMS.

A sensory simulator that leads to model-based development of sound and vibration.

We aim to create a virtual evaluation space that enables the refinement of sensory perception from the early stages of development. By combining a driving simulator currently under development with sound field reproduction technology and subjective evaluation, we will recreate the driving experience of the BYD Seal. Please come and experience it for yourself.

Benchmarking report for electric vehicles

Following the addition of the "Thermal Management" report for the BYD PLUS (ATTO3), we are now offering the "Power Performance" and "NVH" reports for the BYD SEAL. At the event, we will introduce some of the covered components and report contents to those involved with electric vehicles.

NV measurement and analysis contributing to carbon neutrality

With electrification, the demands for low noise and low vibration are becoming increasingly stringent. This presentation will introduce Ono Sokki 's diverse range of sensors and analysis tools that meet these demands, along with measurement examples for BEVs.

Test monitoring and support that is not restricted by location or time.

We will be showcasing automated test support tools and Remote Monitoring System that improve the efficiency of testing. Automation reduces workload, and remote monitoring ensures a reliable testing environment. We will present various technologies and solutions with case studies.

Equipment monitoring system utilizing compressed sensing technology

In plant facilities, downtime due to malfunctions can cause significant damage, so equipment maintenance includes conducting equipment diagnostics and trend management using sound and vibration.
Through collaborative research with a university that has conducted pioneering research on compressed sensing technology, we have developed remote equipment monitoring equipment that enables precise diagnosis even in wireless environments.

We are exhibiting at the "Automotive Engineering Exposition 2024 YOKOHAMA". Please stop by our booth.
