Strengthening measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Tetsuo Yasui / Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) had been implementing a "work-from-home policy" since April 8th at its business establishments, mainly in areas subject to the state of emergency declaration, in order to strengthen measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. We would like to inform you that, in order to further prevent the spread of infection, we have extended the implementation period, which was originally set to end on April 28th, to May 15th.
The specific infection prevention measures will be as follows:

Target Audience

In response to the declaration of a state of emergency by Ono Sokki and Ono Sokki Group, the following applies to employees working at business establishments and offices in prefectures designated as areas requiring special vigilance, and to employees residing in such areas.

April 8, 2020 (Wed) - May 15, 2020 (Fri) (tentative)
* We plan to implement a rotating work-from-home system starting Monday, May 18th. However, this measure may be extended depending on the infection situation.

Main countermeasures

• Implementation of teleworking as the general rule
• Encouraging staggered commuting
• Complete ban on overseas business trips
• Prohibition of non-essential domestic business trips
• Web conferencing recommendations
• Meeting duration reduction, participant limits, and postponement or cancellation.
• Please disinfect your hands with alcohol upon entering the building.
• Ensuring that masks are worn inside the company building.
• Encouraging regular ventilation within the company premises.
• Thorough implementation of infection risk reduction measures in areas not subject to the state of emergency declaration.
