We have discovered a problem with the offline analysis operation of our software products, DS-0221 "General-Purpose FFT Analysis Software" and DS-0222 "Tracking Analysis Software," which you are currently using. Details of the problem
When performing offline analysis of data containing rotational information recorded with the DS-0250 "Throughput Disk Software," problems such as misalignment of order components sometimes occurred depending on the conditions during data recording and analysis.
* There are no defects in the data itself that has been included.
Conditions under which a malfunction occurs
This issue may occur when using the DS-0250 "Throughput Disk Software" to record data for multiple records by setting the recording time (Input Menu → Recording Time/Trigger Setting Command), and when performing degree ratio analysis on data where the recording conditions are the same for each record.
The following conditions will not cause any problems.
When throughput is measured, rotational information is not recorded.
When recording is in throughput mode, if the recording time is not set and recording is stopped manually.
If recording is manually stopped before the set recording time is reached during throughput.
When recording 1 record per file during throughput.
When recording with varying recording conditions (frequency, voltage range, etc.) for each record during throughput.
When performing constant-width FFT analysis (Baseband, Zoom) in offline analysis.
cause
In the offline analysis library, when switching records, the measurement conditions were not reset for analyzing the new record when all recording conditions, including the recording time, were exactly the same.
Products affected by the defect
This applies to versions of the DS-2000 series offline analysis libraries "DS21OF.DLL" and "DS21TF.DLL" older than Ver. 1.14.0031.

countermeasure
Please download the latest updated software with the necessary fixes to the computer where your DS-2000 analysis software is installed, and then perform an overwrite installation.

Clicking the "Software Version Upgrade" button below will download the related installation program, "InstDS21Dll.EXE," in a compressed file named "InstDS21Dll.zip."
[Update Procedure]
After extracting the compressed file, running "InstDS21Dll.EXE" will overwrite and install the new program.
How to check the software version (The diagram shows the process using Windows XP)
Select Search from the Start menu.
Select all files and folders.
Enter DS21OF.DLL in all or part of the filename (OF is a letter).
Right-click on the file name displayed in the list.
Click on the properties.
Open the version information. The file version will be displayed.
You can update the software for the DS-2000 series main unit, as well as the built-in application and utility software, from this "User Registration & Download" page. On the displayed page, under "DS-2000 Graduo Multi-Channel Data Station," first-time users should click [New Registration], and existing users should click [Password Login] to proceed to the DS-2000 series software download page, from which you can download the software.
