Next-generation analog signal measurement front-end AU series

The AU series was created as a front-end measurement platform for efficiently amplifying and processing minute signals from acoustic and vibration sensors, recording data to a PC, and sending optimal signals to analyzers and comparators. A variety of units, including filter units, amplifier units, and recording units, are integrated into a single form factor, and each unit can be remotely controlled directly from a PC via a USB terminal or IEEE1394. To suit diverse measurement applications, customers can freely combine individual units or multiple units to build highly flexible measurement systems ranging from single-channel to multi-channel.

This time, as the first release in the AU series, we are announcing two types of products, three models in total: a filter unit and a recording unit. The filter unit features a gain amplifier in addition to its filtering function for improved usability, and comes in two models: the AU-3100, which can perform BPF in a single unit, and the AU-3200, which has an LPF/HPF with a steep cutoff characteristic of -48dB/oct, allowing you to choose according to your application. The recording unit can be linked up to four units to convert 20 channels/37.5kHz (frequency range) analog signals and transfer data at high speed of up to 400Mbps to the PC hard drive using the international standard IEEE1394 bus. Furthermore, in addition to direct analysis using our transient analysis software "Oscope", the data recorded on the PC can be converted to ORF or CSV format as standard. Data saved in ORF format can be subjected to various advanced analyses using our DS-0221 general-purpose FFT analysis software or XN-8000 series Repolyzer, and data saved in CSV format can be processed secondary using commercially available spreadsheet software such as Excel.
