DS-3000 Series New Data Station

Many products around us emit noise and vibration, including automotive parts such as transmissions and EV motors, office automation equipment such as printers and copiers, and home appliances such as personal computers and refrigerators. With environmental and energy issues gaining global attention, there is a growing need to reduce noise and vibration in many of these products. To develop products that suppress noise and vibration more than ever before, it is necessary to measure how sound and vibration are generated in a timely and accurate manner during the prototyping stage. Generally, such measurements are often taken in so-called "field" locations such as factories and fields, where various phenomena (such as noise and changes in product condition) occur that cannot be predicted on a desk. The DS-3000 series new data station is a PC-based, high-performance, and highly functional measuring instrument that can quickly respond to these unforeseen situations in the field.

While inheriting the high-speed processing capabilities, high reliability, and user-friendly operation cultivated to date, we have further accelerated the processing speed, increasing real-time analysis capabilities to more than double. In addition, we have expanded the number of simultaneously recorded channels in the audible frequency range (20kHz) to a maximum of 32 channels and improved the dynamic range to 110 dB. As a result, it is now possible to measure minute signals that were previously difficult to measure simultaneously across multiple channels and over a wide frequency range.

With even higher performance and functionality, the further evolved DS-3000 data station, when combined with a variety of acoustic and vibration analysis software, significantly contributes to increased efficiency as a solution platform for on-site measurements.
