The VR-6100 complies with the Japanese domestic standard JISC1510-1995 and the Measurement Law, and in addition to significant improvements in its main unit functions and performance, it features a newly developed Accelerometer that enables vibration level measurement from 25 dB to 120 dB (previous models: 30 dB to 120 dB) and a linearity range of 75 dB (previous models: 65 dB). The measurable frequency range is wide, from 0.7 to 355 Hz (when measuring vibration acceleration level), enabling measurement of a wider range of vibrations, from low-frequency vibrations to vibrations of machinery. Furthermore, by adding a real-time octave analysis function (optional), octave analysis results can be obtained on the spot (using a digital filter). In addition, features that are convenient for measurement personnel are achieved, such as ease of operation in the field and automatic measurement functions. Condition memory and key protection functions prevent errors in setting measurement conditions through simple operation.
