Report Summary

1. Output Characteristics Power Unit Efficiency (ID: Original PLUS-22-001-A)

We used a hub dynamometer to measure the output characteristics for each drive mode and the maximum output for each State of Charge (SOC). We also obtained an efficiency map of the power unit (drive shaft output / battery power).

2. Output Limiting Characteristics (ID: Original PLUS-22-002-A)

Using a hub dynamo, we investigated the behavior of the vehicle until power limiting was applied when maintaining the maximum power output or maximum vehicle speed.

3. Driving force characteristics, tip-out characteristics, and regenerative characteristics (ID: Original PLUS-22-003-B)

Using a hub dynamometer, we measured the drive shaft output characteristics in response to accelerator pedal opening for each drive mode. We also measured the deceleration characteristics when tipping out, as well as the deceleration and regenerative power for each State of Charge (SOC), including a full charge. Furthermore, we investigated the regenerative characteristics (regenerative power and mechanical brake behavior) when the brake pedal was operated.

4. Running resistance (ID: Original PLUS-22-004-A)

In accordance with GTR No.15 Amendment 6, we calculated the driving resistance from the coasting time measured on the test course. This data can be used as load data for performing mode-based energy consumption and real-world driving simulations on a test bench.

5. Tire Rolling Resistance (ID: Original PLUS-22-005-A)

Based on JIS D 4234, we measured the rolling resistance and rolling resistance coefficient of the original equipment tires.

6. Motor and Inverter Vibration (ID: Original PLUS-22-06-A)

To investigate the vibration of the motor and inverter during steady-state and transient operation in the low-to-high speed range, a 3-axis accelerometer was installed, and measurements and analyses were performed.

7. Motor/Inverter Noise (ID: Original PLUS-22-07-A)

1/2-inch microphones were installed on each of the six sides of the power unit, including the motor and inverter, and measurements and analyses were performed during steady-state and transient operation in the low-speed to high-speed range.

8. Power unit mount vibration (ID: Original PLUS-22-08-A)

To investigate the vibrations transmitted from the power unit to the vehicle body, we used a 3-axis accelerometer to measure and analyze vibrations on both the unit and body sides of the power unit mount.

9. In-car noise (ID: Original PLUS-22-09-A)

1/2-inch microphones were installed in the driver's and passenger's seats inside the vehicle, and noise levels were measured and analyzed during steady and transient driving at low to high speeds.

10. Transmission System Vibration Characteristics (ID: Original PLUS-22-10-A)

We measured and analyzed the vibrations of the steering column and the driver's seat when driving on a harsh road surface.

11. Suspension and tire vibration (ID: Original PLUS-22-11-A)

To investigate vibrations transmitted from the tires while driving, we measured and analyzed vibrations from the steering knuckle and suspension towers, among other components.

12. Alarm horn (ID: former PLUS-22-12-A)

We installed a noise meter on an ISO-certified road surface in a location compliant with the Road Transport Vehicle Act and measured the noise level when a vehicle's horn was activated.

13. Fuel Consumption and Driving Range (ID: Original PLUS-22-13-A)

Based on GTR No.15 ANNEX 8, we measured the energy consumption and driving range during WLTC mode driving. In addition, we measured the energy consumption when the ventilator air conditioning temperature was changed, investigated the behavior of the refrigerant compressor, decomposed the losses of each element during mode driving, and compared the driving range displayed on the instrument panel with the actual driving range.

14. Thermal Management (ID: Original PLUS-22-014-A)

This vehicle uses a heat pump to manage battery temperature and provide cabin air conditioning. The vehicle is driven under varying ambient temperature, driving conditions, and air conditioning settings, and the temperature changes in various parts and the behavior of the refrigerant control valve are measured together.

Terms and Conditions for Sales Regarding Benchmark Data Deliverables

Delivered goods and warranty

Ono Sokki Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will deliver the results of measurements taken using its own proprietary methods on commercially available vehicles, as well as secondary products such as test reports created based on those measurement results. (Hereinafter referred to as "delivered products.")
Delivered products will be provided as electronic data. Delivery will be via a cloud server or on physical media (DVD/Blu-ray disc). Depending on the type of product, the data volume may be enormous, in which case delivery will be via a cloud server or on high-capacity media such as Blu-ray discs. If any defects or errors are found in the delivered products within one year of delivery, a corrected version will be provided free of charge.

Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights relating to the contents of the delivered goods belong to our company and do not grant the purchaser any license to implement or use them. In the event of any discrepancy between the handling of intellectual property rights as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions and any other agreement or purchase order separately concluded between the purchaser and our company, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless otherwise agreed upon by our company.

Usage restrictions

The contents of the delivered goods may not be disclosed, used, transferred, or resold to any third party other than the purchaser.
In the case of corporations, even affiliated companies will be treated as third parties. Furthermore, deliverables such as reports and models created using the delivered products may not be sold or transferred to third parties. However, this does not apply if prior written consent has been obtained from our company.

We assume no responsibility whatsoever for any damages incurred by the purchaser as a result of using the contents of the delivered goods.
