Experimental modal analysis system software
MEscope

Easily animate experimental data on vibration/acoustic phenomena in machinery and structures.

When structures are exposed to vibrations, their natural frequencies can be excited, which can lead to fatigue and failure.
For example, if the rotational frequency of a rotating machine matches the machine's natural frequency, the machine will resonate and generate large vibrations. MEscope is an experimental modal analysis system software that analyzes the natural frequency and resonance state of such structures.

Furthermore, in addition to analyzing the static and dynamic vibration behavior of machinery and structures, it can also display sound pressure levels using color contours, making it useful for troubleshooting noise caused by vibration.

Features

  • Vibration and acoustic data acquired by frontend systems such as O-Solution are displayed as 3D animations using MEscope.

  • It enables operational and experimental modal analysis of vibrations in machinery and structures (*).

  • Visualizing vibration behavior makes it easier to analyze vibration problems.

  • In addition to vibration behavior, it is also possible to create color contour displays based on sound pressure level data.

* Actual Operation Analysis What is
Visualizing the vibration behavior of a machine in operation in the time domain or frequency domain.

* Experimental modal analysis What is
Obtain the FRF (Frequency Response Function) from excitation experiments such as hammering, and extract modal parameters (natural frequency, natural mode shape, natural mode damping ratio) from curve fitting.

This image shows the comparison of MAC values between the FRF obtained in the experiment and the shape data after mode extraction.
